Every Life Has A Story

This is a video done by Chick Fil A (we can keep any thoughts about them away from here though and just enjoy the video). It is a good one to show to get staff to realize that you don't know what people are going through, and to me, encourages patience and understanding. We have used it in two different trainings at Rowan. One was with our Rec staff at the start of a semester, and helped deliver the message of treating everyone the same, even the cranky people and 'problem participants', because you don't know what they are dealing with. We also used it with our summer camp staff, because the same message as above is especially true when dealing with our campers, and to realize they could be coming in with their own baggage on a camp day, so it's extra important for us to leave ours at the door, and to focus on the real reason we are there.
